In line with providing our clients with superior quality and service, we have established a considerate cancellation & refund policy.
1.0 OGURU plans each project by dividing work into milestones.
2.0 All projects begin with a complete discovery/analysis and creation of a scope of work document. This is done to make sure that both parties have complete understanding of the work required and thus eliminate the potential for project cancellations, reversals, or disputes.
3.0 As there is time spent to achieve every milestone and complete every module, a refund is not be possible for work already completed.
4.0 In the event of a project terminated on a mutual basis, the client has control of all completed work and any payment for further development will become void. No previous payment or deposit would be refunded. Transferring any work to the client would be additional and charged hourly at USD 25.
5.0 No payment will be refunded once the client approves mock-up designs and we move into the development phase of the project.
6.0 There are no partial refunds for mid-way projects through a milestone phase.
7.0 No cancellations are entertained for services that our marketing team has offered on special occasions. These are limited time offers and cannot be cancelled.
8.0 SEO and digital marketing packages are not refundable, but the client may cancel with a notice written 30 days in advance.
9.0 Hourly and support agreements are paid in advance and do not qualify for refunds. Any unused time in your hourly or support agreement can be used for credit towards future work.
10.0 We do not offer refunds on deposits or payments for projects that are abandoned or lay dormant for more than 30 days.
11.0 If OGURU has made any exception for a client, and has delivered the project or service, and the client does not pay the outstanding balance owed, OGURU will seek other methods of collection as stated in our terms & conditions.
Applicability of Delivery
12.0 OGURU’s delivery commitment is subject to:
12.1 A project is not taken to be void unless the agreed upon payments are clear.
12.2 Refund policy is not applicable if the required information for the successful completion of the project is not given to us at proper time. If there is delay or failure in completion of the project
12.3 due to improper communication from client, it cannot be attributed to OGURU.
12.4 If the information provided by the client is incomplete and/or complete information regarding the project is not provided at the initiation of the project, OGURU is not liable to follow its delivery or refund commitments.
12.5 There is no provision for compensation for the delay of delivery under any conditions, until and unless there is an agreement signed with a penalty clause for delay in delivery.
Limitation of Liability
13.0 OGURU’s liability is bound by the value of the chunk of the project (as per our proposal) which remains incomplete at a given point point of time. OGURU is not obligated for losses due to the services provided/ not provided or the delay in the same at any point of time. The liability to refund holds only if the project has been cancelled by the client and such cancellation has been communicated to OGURU in writing.
Changes to Our Refund Policy
14.0 OGURU has the right to change payment terms if necessary at any time or at any stage during the project, amend this policy without prior notice under its sole discretion. You are therefore requested to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of OGURU website after any such amendments automatically implies your acceptance of the same thereof.
